What subjects do you Offer?
We specialise in Maths and English from Primary until Year 12 HSC level.
For primary students, our engaging lessons strengthen foundations of numeracy and problem solving. English tuition focuses on establishing literacy skills as well as developing a deep understanding of diverse writing forms. We cater to your academic goals and include exam preparation for NAPLAN, OC and Selective Entrance Tests.
For high school students, tuition lessons focus on textual analysis and how to maximise marks for composing essays. Vocabulary, structure and exam strategies are covered to boost your confidence in articulating ideas. Our supportive tutors will guide you whether you are aiming to boost your results in junior high school or get ahead for the HSC and IB exams in senior high school.

Where is the Tutoring Held?
Face-to-face small group tuition is held on Level 2 in the Wentworth Point Community Library. Situated at the heart of Wentworth Point, a bustling community along the Parramatta River, we offer modern facilities with a safe community and learning environment. (Appointment only due to waiting list). Get in touch today to reserve a spot!
Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library provides contemporary library services, a learning lab, a quiet study room, 24-hour foyer and free wi-fi. The building is all-accessible, with off-street parking and disability amenities.
All Tutor Buddies staff who run face-to-face sessions hold valid Working With Children (WWC) Checks. It is an official screening process that involves a criminal history record check to provide clearance to work with children. Online tuition is a safe and time-saving option which is available to students in all areas of Sydney. This has proven successful and Tutor Buddies continue to support happy students even throughout the pandemic.

What are the tuition Prices?
These Tuition rates are reflective of tutoring experience, effective teaching methods and provision of worksheets, study notes and useful past paper resources.
In small group tuition, students are motivated by competition with other committed students. They can compare their progress with students from other schools and learn not only from the tutor, but also from the questions, answers and comments made by other students in the class. How long is each session?
Duration: 1.5 hour. 10 lesson pack per school term
